Is there a reason I have to download the launcher everytime I want to open Minecraft? Is there something that I am not doing right? Thanks!

My first thought when you say you have to redownload the launcher would be that you are saving the launcher to a 'temp' folder. I mean, you're saying the launcher is randomly deleted? If that's the case, try saving the launcher to desktop.
